Field Trip & Nassau Police

On Wednesday September 25, 2019, as part of a village-wide field trip, 3 groups of 2nd graders from the Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School visited the Nassau Police Station. Over 40 children and teachers came by and toured the police station, looked at the police vehicle(s) and met K-9 Jaxx. There were coloring books and crayons on hand and junior police stickers were handed out. Some good questions were asked of Officer Bunney to include “whats the difference between urban and rural policing…”
